At NorthTara.ai, I design an astrology product and help build the front end. I explore ideas early and work through the details with engineers.
My work centres on how people decide what to trust. That means making a system’s limits clear, giving people ways to question an answer and deciding when a person should take over. My master’s in design at Sheffield Hallam University grounded this approach in research.
I want to hear how people describe a problem and see what they do today. Research helps me work out whether a request for another feature is really about a confusing step, missing information or a workaround.
Finance products taught me to pay attention when something goes wrong. People need to know why a check failed, what they can change and what happens next. Clear wording and useful states matter as much as the main flow.
I want to help decide what’s worth solving now and what needs more evidence. I work through those choices with product and engineering, explain the trade offs and stay open to changing direction.
A good component should help the next person make a better decision. I think about patterns across a product, how they’re built and when a new situation needs a different approach.
I use AI to explore, code and prototype. I still check the wording, hierarchy, interactions and awkward cases. I give agents clear brand rules and shared components, then review what they produce before it ships.
I stay close to the build and want the team to agree on what improvement we’re looking for. Then I check what happens in use: can people finish the task, where do they hesitate and what still takes too much effort?
